UTEBAGUA’s loosing flange fittings are standardized products that can be joined together with other special
pieces, and flanged pipes according to standards EN 545 and ISO 2531 having flanges according to standard
UNE EN 1092-2 for pressures of 10, 16 and 25 bar. Loosing flange fittings are available in the range from DN 40
to DN 800 making easier its onsite set-up. Loosing flanges allow more flexibility in accessories production,
because the special pieces can be adapted to the work pressures of the network with just exchanging the
loosing flanges.
This joint is composed of two loosing flanges, one flat closing gasket and zinc plated steel bolts. The water
tightness is achieved by compression originated on the flat gasket between the two flanges. The required effort
for closing is obtained by tightening the screws of the flange to achieve a watertight union.
