UTEBAGUA’s fixed flange fittings are manufactured according to standard UNE EN 1092-2 allowing junctions
with pipes and flanged fittings in ductile cast iron manufactured according to standards EN 545 and ISO 2531.
They are available in a huge range from DN 80 to DN 1600 and nominal pressures of 10, 16 and 25 bar, having
the advantage of a higher robustness and reliability for big diameters and high working pressures.
This junction consists of fixed flanges molded with the fitting, flat gasket and zinc steel tightening screws. The
watertightness is achieved by compression originated on the flat gasket between the two flanges. The required
effort for closure is obtained when tightening the screws of the flange to achieve a tight union.
