UTEBAGUA’s fittings for PVC pipe are manufactured in ductile iron according to standard EN 12842. Junction is made by an elastic joint with a lip that is compressed by the action of the water pressure, on the PVC tube and socket chamber where is housed, getting the desired watertightness.

This junction, unlike Mechanical Joint, does not require other elements such as glands and bolts for getting the pipe watertightness, being easier and faster its set-up, requiring only a good centering of the fitting at the time of assembling.

A light lubrication of the elastic joint and the PVC pipe makes easier the onsite set-up, being convenient the use of tractel or similar for inserting the fitting.
